Pharmacological properties.
Glycine is a regulator of metabolism, normalizes and activates the processes of protective inhibition in the central nervous system, reduces psychoemotional stress, increases mental performance. Glycine is glycine- and GABA -ergic, alpha1-adrenoblocking, antioxidant, antitoxic;

Regulates the activity of glutamate (NMDA) receptors, due to which the drug is able to:

Reduce psychoemotional tension, aggressiveness, conflict, improve social adaptation;
To improve the mood;
To facilitate falling asleep and normalize sleep;
Increase mental performance;
To reduce vegetative-vascular disorders (including in the climacteric period);
Reduce the severity of cerebral disorders in ischemic stroke and head injury;
Reduce the toxic effects of alcohol and other drugs that depress the function of the central nervous system.

Pharmacokinetics.
Easily penetrates into most biological fluids and body tissues, incl. In the brain; Metabolized to water and carbon dioxide, its accumulation in tissues does not occur.

Indications for use:
Decreased mental performance.

Stressful situations – psychoemotional stress (during exams, conflict, etc. situations).

Deviant forms of behavior of children and adolescents.

Various functional and organic diseases of the nervous system accompanied by increased excitability, emotional instability, decreased mental performance and sleep disturbances: neuroses, neurosis-like conditions and vegetative-vascular dystonia, the effects of neuroinfections and craniocerebral trauma, perinatal and other forms of encephalopathy (incl. Alcoholic genesis)

Practically healthy children, adolescents and adults with psycho-emotional stress, decreased memory, attention, mental performance, mental retardation, with deviant forms of behavior: 1 table. 2-3 times a day for 14-30 days.

With functional and organic lesions of the nervous system, accompanied by increased excitability, emotional lability and sleep disturbance: children under 3 years of age – 0.5 table. (50 mg) 2-3 times a day for 7-14 days, in the next 7-10 days – 0.5 tab. 1 per day. The daily dose is 100-150 mg (1-1.5 tablets), the course dose is 2000-2600 mg. Children over 3 years old and adults – 1 table. 2-3 times a day, the course of treatment is 7-14 days. If necessary, the course of treatment can be increased to 30 days and repeated after 30 days.

For sleep disorders: 0.5–1 tablets (depending on age) 20 minutes before bedtime or immediately before bedtime.

For ischemic cerebral stroke: 1000 mg (10 tablets. Buccally or sublingually) with 1 teaspoon of water during the first 3–6 hours from the development of a stroke, then 1000 mg / day for 1–5 days, then 1 –2 tablets 3 times a day for 30 days.

In narcology – as a means of increasing mental performance and reducing psychoemotional stress during remission in cases of encephalopathy, organic lesions of the central and peripheral nervous system: 1 table. 2-3 times a day for 14-30 days. If necessary, treatment courses are repeated 4-6 times a year.
