How do the ingredients work?

Althea roots are included in the pharmacopoeia of various countries. Althaea has anti-inflammatory and enveloping action in violation of lung function and in inflammatory conditions of the respiratory tract and pharynx, and reduces cough.

Thyme herb has an antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antispasmodic, antimicrobial action. Infusions and decoctions of thyme dilute phlegm, activate ciliary epithelium, stimulate respiration and the cough reflex, which contributes to the release of sputum.

Chamomile is a natural medicinal remedy, effective in all diseases of the mucous membranes. It is advisable to use it in all ages – from child to senile, in the treatment of diseases of the skin, mouth, throat, bronchus and gastrointestinal tract. In addition, chamomile has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, diaphoretic, analgesic antispasmodic effect on smooth muscles.

Peppermint has a warming and astringent effect. The main active ingredient – menthol, has a slight local anesthetic effect.

Plantain has anti-inflammatory, wound healing, antiseptic, bacteriostatic, hemostatic, anti-allergic, analgesic, expectorant properties. Due to the presence of mucus in the plant, the infusion of leaves contributes to the dilution, dissolution and removal of thick sputum when coughing. Psyllium protects the epithelium of the respiratory tract, contributes to the normalization of the properties of the surfactant respiratory tract and the restoration of ciliary epithelium. And the presence of phytoncides in the plant causes an antimicrobial effect.

Licorice has anti-inflammatory, expectorant, emollient, enveloping action. Biologically active components of licorice have antiviral effect.

Recommendations for use:

1 filter bag (empty from individual packaging) pour 1 cup boiling water (200 ml), insist 5-10 minutes, take for adults and children over 14 years old and 1 cup of tea 4 times a day.
