Inonotus obliquus
Do you think a parasite can be useful? Paradoxically, it can. If this parasite is chaga.
Birch mushroom, growing due to the nutrients of the white-stemmed beauty, has been used since ancient times in Siberia for the preparation of fortifying tea. Birch enriches chaga not only with its juices, but also with the substances it produces to combat this “uninvited guest”. Such an interconnection of natural organisms makes Chaga highly effective in the treatment of many diseases.
The biologically active substances contained in the chaga are flavonoids, antioxidants, tannins, minerals, organic acids. Thanks to them, birch mushroom is recognized as official medicine and is the basis for the manufacture of a number of drugs.
