SportExpert Protein Bar is a specialized food product for nutrition of athletes during the period of intense training, used as an additional source of protein, L-carnitine.

Whey protein concentrate. Proteins make up the most significant part of our body. Proteins are not formed from other nutrients and are not stored as reserves. In this regard, they are the only source of amino acids and ensure the balance of the processes of their synthesis and decomposition. With an insufficient amount of amino acids in food, the normal development and functioning of the human body is disrupted. Proteins are actively involved in anabolic processes and are a key element in the construction of muscle cells. Whey protein is the most easily digestible and one of the most valuable proteins.

L-carnitine increases cell membrane permeability to fatty acids. Without increasing the rate of collapse of adipose tissue, carnitine increases lipid utilization in order to provide energy and, as a result, slows down the rate of synthesis of fat molecules in the subcutaneous fat depot. With the start of carnitine intake, a sustained loss of adipose tissue begins, and the efficiency of fat oxidation in the body increases dramatically, since fatty acids no longer provide toxic free radicals, but energy stored in the form of ATP. Carnitine reduces cholesterol in the body and slows down the formation of vascular atherosclerotic plaques.
