The composition of 1 tablet contains: active substances:

• seleksen * – 0.21 mg (contains selenium – 0.05 mg);
• Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) – 50 mg;
• sorbitol – 200 mg;
• additional component: calcium stearate.
• * artificially created organic form of selenium, which has the ability to accumulate in the body, dose giving out selenium when it is needed.

Selenium-Active helps to compensate for the deficiency of selenium and vitamin C in the body. Provides consistent and optimal antioxidant protection.

When used as an additional agent for cardiovascular drugs in ischemic heart disease, arterial hypertension and lipid metabolism disorders, a decrease in the intensity of oxidative processes, a decrease in blood pressure and cholesterol levels is observed.

Selenium is an essential element of the antioxidant defense of the body, which is part of glutathione peroxidase (an enzyme that neutralizes free radicals). Against the background of selenium deficiency, this link of antioxidant protection does not work.
