Indications for use:
- Brewer’s yeast with iodine helps to normalize the function of the thyroid gland.
- Iodine is necessary for the synthesis of thyroid hormones, which affect the development and functioning of the brain and nervous system, maintain body temperature, regulate metabolism. The lack of these hormones can affect both physical and intellectual abilities of a person.
- Given that in most regions of our country there is an iodine deficiency in the diet, getting its guaranteed amount in the composition of the tablets is very important.
- The intake of vitamins of group B (as part of brewer’s yeast) complements the action of iodine, for example: vitamin B6 helps to normalize the body’s metabolism, including water-salt metabolism, often impaired in diseases of the thyroid gland.
Iodine:
In animals and humans, iodine is part of the so-called thyroid hormones produced by the thyroid gland – thyroxine and triiodothyronine, which have a multilateral effect on the growth, development and metabolism of the body. In the human body (body weight 70 kg) contains 12-20 mg of iodine, the daily need for iodine is about 0.2 mg (200 μg). The absence or lack of iodine in the diet (which is typical for some localities) leads to diseases (endemic goiter, cretinism, hypothyroidism).
Iodine deficiency leads to diseases of the thyroid gland (for example, goitre, cretinism). Also, with a slight iodine deficiency, fatigue, headache, depressed mood, natural laziness, nervousness and irritability are noted; weakens memory and intelligence. Over time, arrhythmia appears, blood pressure rises, the level of hemoglobin in the blood decreases.
