“Clam” is a lipid complex obtained by saponification of a concentrate isolated from dried laminaria thalli (the content of the sum of higher fatty acids is 30%, iodine is 0.1% based on the dry matter) – 0.100 g. lactose, sucrose, potato starch, magnesium carbonate, calcium stearate, povidone, colloidal silicon dioxide (aerosil).
Pharmacodynamics
Mamoklam has a healing effect in case of fibrocystic breast disease (mastopathy). Reduces manifestations of mastalgia, premenstrual syndrome, leads to regression of cysts, normalizes the processes of proliferation of the epithelium of the mammary glands.
Side effects
Mamoklam is usually well tolerated. A small number of patients have the following side effects. Manifestations of individual intolerance, mainly in the form of pruritus, redness of the skin and skin rashes. From the gastrointestinal tract: heartburn, flatulence, diarrhea. With prolonged use – the phenomenon of iodism (including rhinitis, angioedema, salivation, lacrimation, acne).

Contraindications

Drug interaction
When using the drug MamoclamT at therapeutic doses, the body receives iodine in doses slightly exceeding the recommended physiological dose of this trace element, and therefore MamoclamT should not be used with preparations containing iodine.
Dosage
The drug mamoklamT is applied orally before meals, a single dose – 1-2 tablets, 2-3 times a day at regular intervals throughout the day (daily dose of 3-6 tablets), the duration of the course of treatment is from one to three months.
Overdose
Overdose in the application of mamotum T has not been identified.
