Motherwort drugs have sedative properties, lower blood pressure, slow the rhythm of heart contractions, have anticonvulsant activity in the experiment. They have a beneficial effect on carbohydrate and fat metabolism, reduce the level of glucose, lactic and pyruvic acids, cholesterol, total lipids in the blood, normalize the indicators of protein metabolism.
Indications for use:
As a sedative drug: increased nervous excitability, functional disorders of the cardiovascular system (IRR, labile hypertension).
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity, peptic ulcer and 12 duodenal ulcers, erosive gastritis (acute phase).
Side effects:
Allergic reactions, dyspepsia.
Dosage and administration:
Motherwort P is taken orally. 2 tablets 3 times a day with meals.
