How do the ingredients work?
Chondroitin sulfate is a specific component of cartilage. This biological polymer is the structure of a flexible connection of protein threads (collagen) of cartilage, forming proteoglycans – polymer systems with a spongy structure similar to a sponge, which allows cartilage to act as a shock absorber to which the joint is exposed and promotes the penetration of nutrients and oxygen into the non-vascularized cartilage tissue .
Glucosamine is an amino sugar. Glucosamines are also involved in the construction of cartilage tissue. However, if chondroitin sulfate is a specific component of cartilage, then glucosamines have broader functional properties and, in addition to cartilage, are involved in the formation of tendons, joint fluid, connective tissue of the skin, bones, etc.
Hyaluronic acid is an essential component of synovial (articular) fluid. Hyaluronic acid is a non-sulfated glycosaminoglycan, a polysaccharide of animal origin. It suppresses the degeneration of cartilage and the release of proteoglycans from the extracellular matrix of cartilage, protects the surface of the articular cartilage, normalizes the properties of synovial fluid and reduces the perception of pain.
Clove essential oil – the main component of the essential oil is eugenol, which determines the strong bactericidal action of the essential oil. In addition, clove oil has a warming, antispasmodic effect, it can be used as a painkiller for gouty and rheumatic pains, as an anticonvulsant for muscle cramps.
