Dosage form: The kidneys are elongated-conical, pointed or blunt, often sticky. The scales are tiled, densely pressed along the edges, slightly ciliary (lower ones shorter than upper ones and sometimes with slightly lagging ends); the length of the kidneys is 3-7 mm, across – 1.5-3 mm. The color of the kidneys is brown, sometimes greenish at the base. The smell is balsamic, pleasant. The taste of water extract is slightly astringent, tarry. Composition of Birch buds. Characteristics Kidneys contain essential oil, resins, tannins, flavonoids, saponins and other biologically active substances. Pharmacodynamics The infusion has a diuretic (diuretic) and anti-inflammatory effect. Side effects Allergic reactions are possible.
