“Befungin” (lat. Befunginum) is a phytopreparation based on a birch growth-the chaga mushroom. Most often it is prescribed for gastritis and stomach ulcers, but the scope of the drug is not limited to this. “Befungin” also has useful immunomodulatory and analgesic properties, which has a beneficial effect on colds and chronic fatigue. In more detail, the benefits and harms of “Befungin” are discussed below.
This drug looks like a viscous, thick liquid of a dark brown color. Under long-term storage conditions, sediment may fall to the bottom of the bubble.
The composition of the drug includes the following components: chaga (birch mushroom); ethanol; cobalt chloride hexahydrate as an auxiliary substance. “Befungin” contains sterols, polyphenols and useful polysaccharides. The presence of birch chaga fungus also causes a high concentration of antioxidant components in the drug: melanin and superoxide dismutase, as well as triterpenes such as betulin, inotodiol and lupeol. They are the basis of the anti-inflammatory properties of “Befungin”.
The effect of the drug is determined by the combination of its constituent biologically active substances (polysaccharides, acids and other useful compounds). The main strength and benefits of” Befungin ” are contained in the component composition of the extract of the birch fungus chaga, which, as it grows, is saturated with trace elements such as potassium, zinc and iron.
These useful substances are involved in almost all processes of human organs. Medicines based on the chaga mushroom have a number of positive effects on the body, namely:
