BAA “Cholesterol” contains chitosan – a biologically active substance derived from chitinous shells of red-legged Kamchatka crabs by deacetylation.
Raw materials used in the production of the dietary supplement “Cholesterol” contains more than 80% chitosan and about 15% chitin. Being a natural product, chitosan is absolutely safe and compatible with the tissues of the human body. Chitosan in the gastrointestinal tract is converted into a gel with high sorption properties. Chitosan molecules attract fat and cholesterol in the digestive tract, removing fat from the body 10–12 times its molecular weight (up to half (!) Of all the fat taken with food).
Chitosan has a number of positive properties for the body:
- helps reduce blood cholesterol levels;
- regulates weight due to the active removal of fats from the digestive tract;
- participates in the synthesis of collagen, connective and cartilage tissue, improving the condition of the skin and cartilage;
- actively binds and removes toxins and heavy metals;
- reduces the manifestation of allergic reactions and toxemia in alcohol and food poisoning;
- possesses wound healing and immunostimulating action;
- improves the regularity of the intestine like fiber;
- stimulates the growth of bifidobacteria in the intestine, eliminating the symptoms of dysbiosis.
