Glycine is a replaceable neurotransmitter amino acid that binds to receptors located in the spinal cord and brain. When they are combined, a weakening effect on neurons occurs, the release of gamma-aminobutyric acid increases, which causes inhibition (inhibition) of nerve impulses.
Regular use of foods rich in this amino acid:
- minimizes the person’s nervous tension;
- increases mental performance;
- allows you to fight insomnia and anxiety;
- reduces the negative effects of antibiotic therapy;
- reduces the toxic effect of ethanol.
